Do you accept payment by card?

Yes I do! I also accept bank transfer, cash and cheque.

You’re a carpenter, does that mean you only take on carpentry jobs?

Carpentry is my main trade but I also do decorating, plumbing and repairs as these are often complementary to my carpentry work. If you’re wondering if it’s something I can help you out with, the answer is probably yes- just give me a call.

You’ve given me a quote for a large job. Is it possible to have the quote broken down?

For large jobs, I’m not often able to break the cost down as materials and overheads are often shared between the different components of the job. I can indication of the cost of materials and, if it’s helpful, the cost of each component if completed as a standalone job.

Do you require a deposit?

It depends on the size of the job. For medium-large jobs, I often request a deposit which covers the cost of materials. I’ll confirm the exact deposit amount in the quote emailed to you.

Do you remove rubbish from the job?

Removing and disposing of rubbish is not part of my service but I can arrange that for you at an additional cost.
